How did I not know about this 'til now?! This is awesome news, Eureka Seven is a genuinely great Mech anime mixing Gundam level action and drama with Evangelion level meta-physics and psychology. I can't be the only one that thinks that kid looks he's the son of Renton and Eureka, and I wonder if the Nirvash in the new series is the orignal with a new outer shell or another Nirvash-type LFO? News Release on Anime News Network: www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-12-22/eureka-seven-ao-gets-tv-anime-in-april-2012Offical Japanese Website: eurekaao-prj.net/I also speculate this girl might be Holland and Talho's daughter.

New Nirvash looks great, a little dark looking for the series hero LFO, but we know it'll eventually get repainted in more heroic colors. Promotional art has shown the main character Ao's is green, but in this trailer it's brown, so I wonder if something happens in the first coupe episodes that changes it. Can't wait to see who the new enemy is, and to see what characters from the previous series show up.
